Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the information you give us through this website. We have kept it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
This website is run by Von Newman. In the United Kingdom we are Von Newman UK, 43 Manchester Street, London W1U 7LP. In Nigeria we are Von Newman Technology Consultants Limited, registered in Nigeria under RC 8840592, of No. 3 Jasmine Road, Ikota GRA, Lekki, Lagos. For anything to do with your information, call us on +44 7503 901929 or write to us through the contact form.
What we collect
When you send us a message through the contact form we receive your name, your organisation, your work email address, the option you chose and your message. To protect the form from spam we also record the time you sent it, your IP address and the type of browser you used.
We do not use cookies, advertising tags or analytics on this website. The fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser asks Google's servers for them and Google receives your IP address when it does.
Why we use it
We use what you send only to read your enquiry and reply to you, and to keep a record of the conversation. Our reason for doing so is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us about our services. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details with anyone else.
Where it is kept and for how long
Your message is stored on Amazon Web Services in London and sent by email to our CEO. We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you and then delete them, unless you become a client, in which case they form part of our client records.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. You can also object to us using it. Contact us and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK (ico.org.uk) or the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (ndpc.gov.ng). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
